An outing that’s just for the grown-ups, this getaway transports guests to Blue Lagoon Island – a private isle located around five kilometres from Nassau – for approximately four hours of relaxation and indulgence on a child-free beach.
Your excursion begins with an approximately 45-minute boat journey to Blue Lagoon Island, also known as Salt Cay – a name stretching back to before the 19th century, when its lagoon was used as a salt marsh. Once on dry land, you’ll be welcomed with a Bahama Mama cocktail as you begin your island escape, lasting about three hours.
On the adults-only beach, you can use a butler service, sip soft drinks and make good use of umbrellas and lounge chairs, before a buffet lunch under the palms. If you feel like being more active, rent a clear-bottom kayak, snorkel gear, paddleboard or paddleboat (at extra charge) and head out into the water. A transfer of about 45 minutes then takes you back to the ship.
Important Information: Guests must be at least 18 years of age to take part. Guests are recommended to wear swimwear under comfortable clothing. Blue Lagoon Island accepts Cash, VISA, Mastercard and Discover cards. Free Wi-Fi is available on the island. Guests should remain cautious of any rocks on the beach. The level of the tide depends on the weather conditions.
The transfer to and from Blue Lagoon takes approximately 45 minutes by ferry each way. Depending on the weather, your beach location may change from the ocean side to the lagoon to provide the best experience. This tour lasts a minimum of 4 hours. However, depending on your ship timing in port and daylight hours, it is subject to be extended further.
Final tour duration for your call will be confirmed once onboard. Tour price stays unchanged as Blue Lagoon currently only offers one set of rates. There is no differentiation between half and full day rates
