Excursion Details
Beach days are all about enjoying the sun and unwinding and this excursion, lasting around four hours, lets guests do just that by transporting them to a private island in the Bahamas. Begin by boarding a ferry to Blue Lagoon Island, a historic isle also known as Salt Cay, where pirates once culled salt from the lagoon. A journey of approximately 45 minutes (which may include a brief stop at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal) transports you to the white sands of the island.
Then, simply start relaxing for approximately three hours. Your time could be spent lounging on a beach chair or perhaps enjoying the clear waters. For ease, a buffet lunch is included with the excursion, and additional refreshments are available for purchase. To take things up a notch, try some games or rent a kayak, water bike or paddleboat (all at an extra charge) and float around the lagoon.
You can also purchase local souvenirs in gift shops or the Bahamian Village shopping areas, before the approximately 45-minute ferry ride back to the port.
Important Information: It is recommended to bring camera, sun protection, cash/credit cards, towel. No alcohol before water activities. Guests prone to motion sickness should take precautions. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by one paying adult on the island.
It is recommended to wear swimsuit under cover-up or light clothing, flip-flops, sandals, shoes with non-slip soles, hat and sunglasses. Blue Lagoon Island accepts Cash, VISA, Mastercard and Discover cards. Free Wi-Fi is available on the island. The level of the tide depends on the weather conditions. The transfer to and from Blue Lagoon takes approximately 45 minutes by ferry each way. This tour lasts a minimum of 4 hours. However, depending on your ship timing in port and daylight hours, it is subject to be extended further.
Final tour duration for your call will be confirmed once onboard. Tour price stays unchanged as Blue Lagoon currently only offers one set of rates. There is no differentiation between half and full day rates
