Enjoy some of Cozumel’s highlights and flavours on this approximately three-hour excursion, which is designed to be accessible for all guests. The day includes a sightseeing drive, a chocolate tasting at the Mayan Cacao Company and a tequila tasting.

Get to know the Mexican island of Cozumel through some of its accessible attractions on this excursion, lasting around three hours.
To increase accessibility, stairs and steps are avoided, and a vehicle with a wheelchair lift is used for transport. Begin with a panoramic sightseeing drive through Cozumel’s downtown area, lasting around 70 minutes, before arriving at the Mayan Cacao Company.
You’ll spend approximately 45 minutes here, discovering the history of chocolate and how the Maya used cocoa beans. You’ll also learn how chocolate is made and manufactured, and how it was crafted by the ancient Maya. And of course, you’ll get to taste some traditional-style chocolate.
Afterwards, a transfer of around 15 minutes moves the excursion to Barriecito, a crafts and experiences venue where you’ll learn about tequila – Mexico’s famous spirit – over approximately 30 minutes. After hearing how tequila is produced from the agave plant, you’ll get to sample some for yourself. A transfer drive of around 20 minutes then returns to the port, concluding the excursion.
Important Information: This tour is designed to be accessible for all guests. The tour route avoids steps and stairs. Accessible bathrooms with wide doors for wheelchairs are present along the tour route. An accessible vehicle with a wheelchair lift or ramp will be used for transportation.
Guides are not allowed to push wheelchairs. The order of the sites viewed or visited may vary. The price includes vehicle, tour guide and entrance tickets. Lunch/snack costs are not included. In many ports the number of accessible vehicles are extremely limited; therefore, guests are encouraged to make their accessible shore excursion reservations as far in advance as possible.
