Excursion Details
Your excursion begins with a departure from the pier heading towards the Peninsula, where you will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful view and take photos for about 10 minutes at the Lighthouse Square. After this stop, you will continue the journey to La Barra, a charming neighborhood, where you will take a 15-minute break to capture the location in photos. Then, you will travel along a scenic road, passing through residential areas, until you reach Punta Ballena, a spectacular viewpoint.
There, you will visit the iconic Casa Pueblo, a unique work of art designed by Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró. You will have 1 hour to explore and be enchanted by the architecture and stunning views. After the visit to Casa Pueblo, you will head to the famous “Hand of Punta Ballena,” where you will have free time to enjoy the view and take photos of this famous sculpture. Finally, you will return to the pier, with a relaxing trip back, taking advantage of the remaining time to relax and enjoy the scenery along the way.
Important Information:
The entrance fee to Casa Pueblo is included in the price of the excursion. The order of the visit may be altered, and the visit to Casa Pueblo may happen before or after the city visit. One alfajor per person is included in this excursion. The number of guides speaking languages other than Spanish is limited.
If a guide in your language is unavailable, the excursion will be offered only in Spanish. This excursion will not be canceled due to weather (rain).
