The MSC Armonia, a Lirica-class vessel, is a modern ship with a casual atmosphere that was commissioned in 2004. The ship was last renovated in 2014 and extended with new balcony cabins, new public areas and a water park. With a length of 274.9 meters the ship can accommodate up to 2679 passengers (with double occupancy). The design of the interior is classic with some colorful accents.
Staterooms
The cabins are comfortably furnished and have a bathroom (shower and WC), minibar, safe, TV and hairdryer. The inside and outside cabins are about 13 square meters in size, but offer sufficient space and storage for your luggage. The 94 new balcony cabins on decks 7-10 offer 15-16 square meters of space. The balcony cabins are newly renovated and equipped with new carpets and upholstery as well as with new bathrooms. The spacious suites with balconies measure 27 square meters and also have a bathtub.
Atmosphere on Board
On board the MSC Armonia, it’s like landing in a well-kept holiday hotel: good food, a wide range of sports, comfortable cabins and many entertainment options. Even at this relaxed and casual atmosphere, festive attire is recommended two nights a week in the main restaurants. Guests who like it even more casual can visit the buffet restaurant at this evenings where no dress code is expected.
Food and Beverages
The restaurant and buffet area has also been greatly expanded as part of the Renaissance program. The tasty cuisine is mainly Italian. On board you will find the main restaurants Marco Polo & La Pergola, serving a la carte breakfast, a bistro at lunchtime and traditional dinners in two sessions. (Restaurant is allocated depending on the booked category). The La Brasserie buffet restaurant offers burgers and pasta & pizza stations, a fresh salad menu and daily changing specialties.
Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
On board, there are many ways to make your holidays unforgettable. Ample space was created for entertainment and recreation. In 2014, many novelties, such as the Kids LEGO Areas or the Water Spray Park, were created especially for children. But even travelers without children can look forward to great facilities on board:
