Begin with a scenic 45-minute drive to Barra de São Miguel, where verdant landscapes and lagoon views set the stage for a day of discovery. From there, board a charming schooner through the tranquil waters of Lagoa do Roteiro—an enchanting prelude to your beach adventure.
You’ll then arrive at the breathtaking Praia do Gunga, nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and lush coconut groves—a setting celebrated as one of Brazil’s most beautiful beaches. The unique blend of lagoon and sea creates mesmerizing colors, shifting from deep blue at low tide to vibrant green when the waters merge. Enjoy 3 hours at Gunga Beach to soak up the sun, swim in calm crystal-clear water, or stroll along the shoreline framed by dramatic cliffs and palm-haired dunes. Part of this excursion will be operated by bus and the other part by boat, offering a diverse and scenic journey to one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Lunch is not included in the excursion, but there are restaurant options during free time. MSC Cruises is not responsible for any tours purchased on the beach during free time. This excursion will not be canceled due to weather (rain). Food and beverages are not included; we recommend bringing local currency or a Visa/Mastercard credit card. It is only available in Portuguese. The number of guides in languages other than Portuguese is limited.
