Excursion details

Get acquainted with Ocean Cay’s landscapes and natural features as you glide across lagoon waters on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP). This excursion of around 90 minutes offers a guided SUP trip and is suitable for all levels of experience, even for those new to this popular activity.

Begin by completing waivers before a short walk to the lagoon, where you’ll receive a safety briefing and instructions over 15 minutes or so. Then it’s time to get out on the water for the main paddleboarding session, lasting approximately one hour. As you float gently along on your SUP, your guides will point out sights, scenery and any marine life and wildlife that might be viewable – although sightings cannot be guaranteed.

After your time paddling over the lagoon finishes, the excursion ends.

Important Information: guests must be at least 14 years of age to participate and be accompanied by a parent / guardian the whole time. Guests need to complete waiver, which may only be available in English. Guest must be able to maintain themselves in deep water

Spend the day in style with a sightseeing tour of Miami. This approximately four-hour excursion includes a guided coach ride past some of the city’s biggest landmarks, shopping time at Bayside Marketplace.

Excursion Details

Lasting approximately four hours, this combination of sightseeing tour and airport transfer helps you get the most out of the final section of your holiday by showing you the best of Miami. Board a bus from the port for an approximately 3-hour sightseeing drive passing by Miami Beach’s South Beach neighborhood, home to the iconic Ocean Drive and Art Deco architecture.

You’ll then pass through some of the main streets and sites of Miami’s city center until you reach the Little Havana district. View from the bus Miami’s vibrant Cuban neighborhood -including its buzzing main street, Calle Ocho -before finally reaching Bayside Marketplace -an open-air shopping center that was often featured in the popular 1980s TV series Miami Vice.

You’ll have around one hour and 20 minutes for shopping or perhaps buying lunch or relaxing at Bayside Marketplace. Finally, take an approximately 40-minute transfer to the port.

Make the most of your last day of holiday with this approximately four-hour excursion. The itinerary includes a sightseeing driving tour of Miami, shopping time at Dolphin Mall and a transfer back to the cruise ship port.
Excursion Details

Board your vehicle at the port and embark on a guided coach tour, lasting approximately two hours. You’ll pass some of the city’s biggest landmarks and drive through Miami Beach -this thriving area hosts the North American branch of the world-renowned Art Basel art fair and also houses the largest concentration of Art Deco buildings in the United States, spread throughout the Art Deco Historic District.

After the guided tour ends, you’ll be driven to Dolphin Mall, a popular shopping complex that boasts more than 240 stores and over 25 eateries. Spend approximately two hours and 15 minutes at the mall, browsing, buying, eating, relaxing or using the time however you like. Finally, reboard your vehicle for an approximately 45-minute transfer to the pier.

Before you fly out of Miami, use your morning to embark on a bus tour that puts you in control of sightseeing. After viewing or visiting some of the most famous areas in both Miami and neighbouring Miami Beach, you’ll be free to make your own way to the airport from downtown Miami. Luggage storage is included.

Excursion Details

Map out a memorable final morning of your trip by enjoying some of the most popular sights of Miami and Miami Beach on this flexible excursion. You’ll be taking a ‘hop-on, hop-off’bus around the city and can even store your luggage at the bus station during your tour, before arranging your own journey to the airport.

A transfer drive from the port of around 30 minutes takes you to the Big Bus Tours Miami Information Center, where you’ll board one of its hop-on, hop-off buses and begin a sightseeing tour on the ‘red loop’route. This circuit covers some of Miami’s best-loved spots, and the good news is you can get off and explore at as many or as few stops as you like.

Stops on the red loop include Bayside Marketplace, a waterfront shopping and dining complex where you can tuck into everything from Italian-style gelato to classic pizzas and refreshing daiquiris; South Beach (located in Miami Beach – a barrier island that’s connected to mainland Miami), with its famous seven-mile boardwalk; the Miami Design District, packed with eye-catching art installations, contemporary galleries and hip boutiques; and Little Havana, a hub of Cuban-American life that houses restaurants, bars with live music, colourful murals and tucked-away Máximo Gómez Park, nicknamed ‘Domino Park’due to locals’fondness for playing dominoes there.

When you’re done exploring, continue the loop by rejoining another hop-on, hop-off bus – buses arrive at each stop every 30 minutes. Another option is simply to stay on the same bus for the whole loop and enjoy a sightseeing drive of the city.

Once you’ve had your fill of sights, return to the Big Bus Tours Miami Information Center, retrieve your luggage and independently make your way to the airport in plenty of time for your flight (the excursion does not include a transfer to the airport or transport costs).

Important Information: Please note: this tour is available (1) for guests booked on flights departing from Miami International Airport after 3:30 pm to destinations within the USA or after 4 pm to international destinations, (2) for guests booked on flights departing from Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after 4 pm to destinations within the USA or after 4.30 pm to international destinations and (3) for guests with a reservation at a local hotel for an extended stay. This tour ends at Central Station at Bayside Marketplace.

Transportation to the airport is not included. There are many Taxis or Ubers available to take you to your hotel, airport, or destination of your choice. The price of this tour includes luggage storage for up to two pieces at the Big Bus Tours Miami Information Center. Any additional luggage can be stored for a fee of $5 per item, payable on site. All luggage must be fully closed, as open bags will not be accepted. Loose items such as bottles, hats, pillows, or clothing, including items attached to bag handles, must either be carried by the guest or placed inside checked luggage. Backpacks or bags containing electronics are not permitted for storage, and fragile or breakable items cannot be accepted. Guests are responsible for collecting their belongings at the end of the tour prior to departing for their final destination

This excursion provides a good way to see what South Florida is all about, a mix of art, architecture, people and culture from everywhere and beaches and wild nature. Great photo opportunities and free time to discover! On this combined Everglades and Miami tour you will discover the many facets of this area. An approximately 1 hour transfer by bus will take you to the Everglades, where you can travel into nature on an approximately 30 minute airboat ride and spot the local wildlife.

Back to “civilization” you will cruise by bus through many areas like Little Havana, the Art Deco District and colorful Wynwood, time permitting, on an approximately 1 hour and 30 minute sightseeing tour. You will have approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes in Bayside for free time to have lunch and shop before your return to the ship.

Please note: Food is not included in the tour price; time will be given during the tour though to have lunch at your own expenses. This tour ends at Miami port for transit guests.

Please expect some queues at the venue. The alligator show that is presented at the Everglades Park is time-permitting and may not be feasible in consideration of onsite waiting times. During the airboat ride, wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed given that it is a natural habitat. Ear plugs can be purchased at the Everglades Park for an additional charge. A drive from the port will take you across the McArthur Causeway to the southern part of Miami Beach, known as South Beach, incorporating the Art Deco Historic District. In 1979, the art district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Miami Beach is known to have the largest collection of Art Deco buildings in the world, and the Miami Design Preservation League was formed in 1975 to preserve and restore these historic buildings, which are from the 1930s – 1940s. Enjoy a leisurely walk with your guide along Ocean Drive, and the beach boardwalk, to view some of these historic gems, including the Park Central, Beacon, Colony, Cardozo, and the Gianni Versace mansion, where the world famous fashion designer lived and in 1997 was shot and killed on the steps. The walk continues to Lincoln Road, an original pedestrian friendly shopping area of Miami Beach, before your return to the ship.

The tour can last however long you like (before catching a 3pm bus) and lets guests choose their itinerary from famous stops including South Beach, the Design District and Little Havana, before transferring to Miami International Airport. If you’re flying out from Miami, use time before the flight to view the city’s key attractions on this morning excursion that fits around your schedule. You’ll be sightseeing via a hop-on, hop-off bus that stops at some of Miami’s most popular areas, before a transfer takes you directly to Miami International Airport. There’s even luggage storage to make things convenient.

Begin with a transfer from the port of around 30 minutes, which takes guests to the Big Bus Tours Miami Information Center. Here, you’ll be able to use luggage storage facilities and join a double-decker bus tour with stops throughout the city. Buses at each stop arrive every 30 minutes or so and a full loop takes approximately two hours and 10 minutes.

Once onboard the bus, it’s entirely up to you where to stop off and explore and when to rejoin the sightseeing loop on another bus. Alternatively, you can stay on one bus for the whole loop and soak up Miami from the comfort of your seat.

Stops include buzzing South Beach (known for its equally buzzy boardwalk – which stretches for seven miles and offers fantastic ocean views – and its Art Deco Historic District, which houses the largest concentration of Art Deco-styled buildings in the United States), the Miami Design District (full of museums, galleries, boutiques and colourful murals) and Little Havana (the city’s hub of Cuban-American culture – take a walk along Calle Ocho and enjoy the many coffee shops, bars and restaurants, as well as the live music you might hear). Finish your tour back at the Big Bus Tours Miami Information Center and collect your luggage in good time for a 3pm transfer to Miami International Airport, lasting approximately 30 minutes.

Important Information: Please note: This tour ends at Miami airport for guests who are disembarking and booked on domestic flights leaving from MIA Airport after 17:30 hours/5:30 pm or international flights leaving from MIA Airport after 18:00 hours / 6:00 pm.  This tour includes a luggage hold, which means that upon arriving at the Big Bus Central Station, you will be able to leave your luggage under staff supervision while you are on your Hop On, Hop Off experience. Guests are permitted to hold 2 pieces of luggage each. Any additional luggage can be stored for a fee of $5 per item, payable on site.
