This best-of tour of the island begins with a drive west of Kingstown, to the St. George’s Cathedral, the largest religious building in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It rests on four acres of land in the center of the capital city Kingstown and has been in existence for 200 years. You’ll have approximately 25 minutes to explore St. George’s Cathedral. Next up are the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Botanical Gardens, established in the mid-18th-century and one of the oldest in the western hemisphere.

Here, you’ll have approximately 45 minutes to explore the tropical flora across the expansive grounds. You’ll continue on to the island’s southern shoreline for a quick stop at a venue with ocean views. You will have approximately 35 minutes to enjoy a glass of rum or fruit punch before returning to the ship.

Please note: guests are recommended to wear a hat and comfortable shoes on this tour. The order of the tour may be reversed depending upon local conditions. Traffic can be heavy at times

BEQUIA BY CATAMARAN

The archipelago of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is made up of 32 islands and cays, 9 of which are inhabited. Your day begins as you depart your ship and board a catamaran to spend about 1 hour sailing down to the largest of the Grenadines, the island of Bequia.

The captain will make an approximately 30-minute stop so that you can enjoy Port Elizabeth’s waterfront, dotted with boutiques, local craft stalls, and restaurants. Take some time to browse the unique dainty town. You will then head back onboard to continue your cruise to the beach. You can either go for a swim or stretch out on the golden sands. This is where you will drop anchor to enjoy for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, try snorkelling and have lunch of a Caribbean cuisine – served castaway-style. Lastly, you will be able to enjoy rum punch and sea views on the way back to the ship. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate.
Please note: Bequia is known for its beautiful and unspoiled beaches.

These beaches have limited amenities available. Upon arrival, your catamaran will anchor, and lunch will be served castaway style on a secluded beach, therefore, there will be no tables or chairs provided and you may be required to sit in the sand. Guests are advised that the sea can be choppy at times, and it is at the captain’s discretion to choose the safest beaches and coastal stops during the cruise in the event of swells or adverse weather conditions. The tour is not available for women who are in more than the 7th month of pregnancy and for guests of limited mobility. Wheelchairs are not permitted on the catamaran. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcohol. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN & SNORKEL

Coastal views, beach time and a visit to one of the filming locations from “Pirates of the Caribbean” are all highlights on this tour.

You’ll first board a boat for a jaunt up the shoreline of Saint Vincent to reach a snorkelling site off a black-sand beach. You’ll have time to explore the underwater world here before moving on again to the village of Wallilabou for a photo stop. This is one of the locations where the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series was filmed, so see whether you recognise any parts of the village from the movies.

Do keep your camera at hand during your visit and be sure to put on your best pirate swagger when you pose for posterity. Drinks will also be served during the outing, which comes to a close with your leisurely return to the ship.

Please note: Guests must be able to swim in order to participate to this tour. Rum punch will be served only after the snorkelling portion.

The tour is not available for women who are in more than the 7th month of pregnancy and for guests of limited mobility. Depending on weather and safety conditions, the captain may modify the snorkeling or beach location

SCHOONER PARTY

SCHOONER PARTY

Take yourself off the ship and instead board a traditional schooner. You’ll be able to party on down for half a day to a backdrop of coastal views and with the wind in your hair. Sailing close to the mountainous leeward shoreline of Saint Vincent island, you’ll be heading for the remains of the film set for “Pirates of the Caribbean”. During your cruise, you can enjoy Caribbean and international music. A stop is scheduled at Mount Wynne Bay so you can go ashore to laze on the black-sand beach or swim in the water. Alternatively, you can also stay put on the schooner and simply savour the scenery.

On the return journey, you can then sip a glass of the captain’s complimentary rum punch to round the tour off. Guests must be at least 17 years old to participate.

Embark on a journey aboard a catamaran to the island of Bequia, located just 9 miles from St. Vincent but offering a distinctly authentic Caribbean ambiance. As the crew hoists the sails, enjoy a drink and watch as the hills of Kingstown fade into the distance. Venture to the tranquil south side, where you’ll discover secluded beauty and an opportunity to snorkel at Moon Hole. Next Head to Princess Margaret Beach for a Caribbean-style lunch served onboard. Indulge in a swim in the waters or relax on the sands. On your journey back, the captain invites you to enjoy his signature rum punch rounding off your day before returning to the mainland and your awaiting ship.

KAYAK & SNORKEL TOUR

KAYAK & SNORKEL TOUR

Time for some fun in and on the water when you join this half-day outing dedicated to the sports of kayaking and snorkelling. You’ll first board a coach and head southwest in the direction of Buccament Bay, where you’ll get a full safety briefing and be issued with your kayak. Paddle through the Caribbean waters with your guide, heading towards Byahaut Cove, home to the Bat Cave, where depending on the sea conditions, you may enter and catch a glimpse of a lively bat colony. Back out in the cove, swim and snorkel around the reef. Accessible only by sea, the cove is one of the locations where the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films were shot. Afterward, return to Buccament Bay for a drink before heading back to Kingstown. Guests must be at least 16 years old to participate.

VERMONT NATURE TRAIL HIKE

The dense rainforest found in Saint Vincent is up for exploration on this moderate activity tour that will see you hike the Vermont Nature Trail in the Vermont Valley. Your outing begins with an approximately 30-minute coach ride, followed by a guided walk upon arrival at the site. You’ll not only pass through cultivated fields and forest plantations but are also likely to encounter all sorts of creatures – with your guide pointing out places of interest and identifying wildlife throughout your hike. At the Parrot Lookout, look out for the island’s indigenous parrot species, a lovely little chappy whose numbers have fallen in recent years.

On your return from this communion with Mother Nature, you’ll be able to enjoy a drink before starting on the return transfer to the ship.
Please note: Guests are advised that a short part of the trail involves hiking up a steep incline. Guests must be sufficiently fit to take part in the hike. Guests will walk approximately 2.5 miles. The nature trail may become muddy at times. Guests are recommended to wear appropriate hiking shoes

As you make your way, enjoy a drive through the capital city of Kingstown, affectionately known as “The City of Arches.” After a brief 30-minute transfer, you’ll arrive at your paradise—Sandals Resort, nestled on 50 acres, embraced by the Caribbean Sea and surrounded by mountains and a rainforest. During your approximately 4-hour stay, immerse yourself in the resort’s atmosphere. Savor culinary delights at any of the 16 exquisite restaurants, sip on premium beverages at one of the 11 bars, or simply relax on the beach or poolside under the sun. As your time at Sandals Resort comes to an end, bid farewell to this tropical haven and head back to the pier, carrying unforgettable memories with you.

The price of this tour is per person and includes roundtrip transportation, lunch, open bar, access to the resort’s pool and beach, non-motorized water sports (available on a first-come first served basis), beach chairs, and umbrellas. Spa services are not included, however, can be purchased for an additional charge onsite, based on availability.

The deadline to cancel this tour without any penalties is 24 hours prior to the call. Any cancellations after this will result in a 100% penalty of the tour price. Guests must be at least 18 years old to participate. Sandals is an Adults-Only resort.

Take a guided drive through Kingstown, where colonial-era buildings stand alongside more modern structures, offering a glimpse into the island’s layered history. Continue along the Leeward side of St. Vincent, passing through local towns and villages that reflect everyday island life. Your first stop is Wallilabou Bay, a filming location for Pirates of the Caribbean.

Explore remnants of the movie set and take in the rugged coastal surroundings. The tour ends at Mt. Wynne Beach, one of St. Vincent’s black sand beaches. Here, you can take a swim, enjoy a tropical drink, or simply relax before heading back to the ship.

BEQUIA HERITAGE TOUR

Start your day with an approximately 1-hour ferry ride to the island of Bequia, known for its seafaring traditions and laid-back charm. Upon arrival in Port Elizabeth, begin an approximately 2-hour guided tour of the island. Visit the village of Hamilton to explore the historic Hamilton Battery, offering panoramic views of Admiralty Bay. Continue to Mount Pleasant for scenic views of the southern Grenadines, then pass through hills once worked by Irish and Scottish laborers.

The tour ends at Friendship Bay, a traditional whaling area, where you’ll learn about the island’s maritime past. Enjoy approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes of free time at Friendship Bay Beach—swim, relax, enjoy local music, or purchase lunch and refreshments before the approximately 1-hour ferry ride back to Kingstown.
