SCHOONER TO SACO DO CÉU

Set sail on a schooner adventure to the breathtaking Praia do Amor and the crystal-clear Lago Azul. Perfect for those seeking sun, sea, and unforgettable memories in style!

Excursion Details

Board your schooner and begin a quick journey to Praia do Amor in Saco do Céu. Stay for around 30 minutes to unwind on this peaceful beach. Sail for about 1 hour towards Lago Azul, arriving at Praia Fora. Here, enjoy approximately a 2-hour stop to swim, relax, and explore the natural scenery. Reboard the schooner for a 20-minute return trip, concluding your experience.

A lunch box will be provided for all. Food and beverages are not included; we recommend bringing local currency or a Visa/Mastercard credit card. Guests with food intolerances must notify the Shore Excursions Office on board at least two days before the call. It is only available in Portuguese. SCHOONER TO GREEN LAGOON

Explore Green Lagoon and Sítio Forte Cove with snorkeling, marine life, and relaxation, enjoying fresh fruits and a lunch box at stunning beaches with bar and restaurant facilities.

Excursion Details

Embark on the schooner and set off on a scenic journey. Arrive at the stunning Green Lake, where you will have around 2 hours to swim, snorkel, relax, or simply enjoy the crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life. After your time at Green Lake, depart for the next leg of the journey, a 1-hour sail to Maguariquissaba Beach or Japariz Beach. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to relax on the sand, take a refreshing swim, or explore the surroundings at your leisure. The return journey begins with the sail back from the beach, followed by another 1 hour of sailing to reach the pier, concluding a full day of exploration, relaxation, and unforgettable coastal scenery.

SNORKEL EQUIPMENT RENTAL FOR ALL SCHOONER TOURS

The rental of snorkeling equipment (mask and snorkel – does not include fins) is available to all guests who purchase any schooner excursion. The equipment will be delivered to the Abraão pier before boarding the schooners. The amount of equipment available is limited. We recommend booking equipment in advance to avoid disappointment.

There will be a charge of USD60 (sixty US dollars) on the guest’s on-board account (cruise card) if the equipment is lost or damaged during the excursion. It is not possible to rent equipment on board the schooners. Guests must sign the equipment liability form at the excursions desk

ILHA GRANDE GRAND TOUR

Embark on a 6-hour grand tour exploring the crystal-clear waters of Lago Azul and Lagoa Verde, the Maguariquessaba Marine Farm, the charming Saco do Céu, and the paradisiacal Praia do Amor and Praia da Feiticeira. Enjoy stops to take in the scenery, snorkel with included equipment, and savor a delicious lunch box on board. A complete experience of adventure, relaxation, and immersion in nature.

Excursion Details

Depart from Abraão for a 20-minute ride to Lagoa Azul. Enjoy around 40 minutes swimming and exploring this scenic lagoon. Travel for 20 minutes to Lagoa Verde for a free time to swim and relax in tranquil waters. Continue to Praia de Maguariquessaba for a stop at a marine farm, perfect for photography. Next, head to the beach for 1 hour of swimming and leisure, then enjoy the ride to Saco do Céu with a brief stop for photos. Arrive at Praia do Amor for 40 minutes of beach time, followed by a journey to Praia da Feiticeira and more 40 minutes to swim and explore. Return to Abraão with a 15-minute sail.

Only 4 boats are available for this excursion, so spots are extremely limited; we recommend booking in advance. A lunch box will be provided to all. Restrooms are available on the beach with consumption at bars and restaurants. The boat is helmed by a master sailor, who will also serve as the guide, and he speaks only Portuguese. The boat’s size may vary depending on the number of participants. This excursion already includes snorkeling equipment (mask and snorkel). This excursion is also suitable for guests with mobility difficulties who wish to visit Lagoa Azul, as boats are easier to board than schooners. However, there will be a gap between the pier and the edge of the boat, and guests must have good physical condition to board the boat independently.

WALKING THROUGH HISTORY

Step back in time on a guided walk along the T1 trail, uncovering the fascinating indigenous, colonial, and imperial history of the region. Explore ancient ruins, a historic aqueduct, and the scenic Praia Preta, all while immersing yourself in culture, nature, and unforgettable views.

Excursion Details

The tour begins with arrival at the pier, followed by the start of a guided walking tour lasting approximately 15 minutes. The first stop is the historic San Sebastian Church, where you will explore its architecture and history. The journey continues with a visit to the Visitors Center of Ilha Grande State Park, offering insights into the region’s natural environment and conservation efforts.

Next, you will stop at the Park Guardhouse followed by a visit to the scenic Preta Beach, where you can take in the surrounding area and spend around 30 minutes swimming and relaxing. The tour then continues to the historic aqueduct for a 15-minute visit, followed by additional free time of 30 minutes to swim in a natural pool nearby. The adventure proceeds to the Preta Belvedere, offering stunning views of the landscape. Finally, you will return to Abraão Village over a 15-minute walk, concluding the tour upon arrival back at the pier after a full day of exploration, nature, and cultural discovery.

Important Information:

This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility issues, as it includes a long walk on steep terrain. We recommend wearing a cap, closed comfortable shoes, as well as bringing a backpack and towel.

The tour begins with a scenic sail to Dentista Beach on Gipóia Island, where guests will enjoy approximately 50 minutes of free time to relax and swim in the crystal-clear waters. The journey then continues to Piedade Beach, with a brief stop of around 10 minutes dedicated to photos and sightseeing. Next, the boat sails to Flechas Beach, also on Gipóia Island, offering about one hour of free time to enjoy the beach and its surroundings. The itinerary proceeds to the stunning Blue Lake, where guests will have approximately 40 minutes to swim and admire the vibrant blue waters. After this final stop, the boat sails back to Abraão Village, arriving at the pier at the end of the excursion.
