PRIVATE LUXURY MOTORBOAT WITH LUNCH – YACHT CLUB EXCLUSIVE

Hop aboard a 50 ft private open luxury motorboat, accompanied by experienced crew. After a brief orientation of the facilities onboard, you will embark on a private charter of Antigua’s coastline. Slowly motor over the Caribbeans waters while lounging in the shade or on the sundeck. You will pass the famous Hawksbill Rock before approaching Deep Bay. Once at anchor, discover a wreck that lies beneath the bay, the Andes, a Barque from Trinidad that sank nearly 100 years ago.

Snorkel the wreck and see the world of underwater life. Take a swim, beachcomb, or simply relax on a float while sipping on a cocktail. You will also get to enjoy a lunch onboard, as well as unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This exclusive boat tour contains just the perfect mix of simply indulging in the refinement of breezing along on a private luxury motorboat, the chance to visit the coastline and unpopulated beaches in the area before heading back to St. Johns. Guests must be at least 4 years old to participate.
Please note: This tour is available for guests booked in the Yacht Club only. The price of this tour is per person. Included in the tour price is an English-speaking captain and crew, light lunch, canapes, and open bar.

It is recommended that guests bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, and a towel. The spotting of wildlife is not guaranteed. An alternative snorkel site may be chosen at the captain’s discretion depending on the weather. Guests who would like to participate in the snorkeling should be in good health and consider their physical fitness before participating. Alcohol may only be served after the snorkeling portion of the tour. The minimum age to participate is 4 years old.

There are some steps onboard the vessel where caution is advised for ascending and descending. The deadline to cancel this tour without any penalties is 48 hours prior to the call. Any cancellations after this will result in a 100% penalty of the tour price. This tour may be shared with other Yacht Club guests

NELSON’S DOCKYARD AND BOAT TOUR

Board your air-conditioned transportation with a Driver/Guide and explore Antigua’s countryside, passing local villages, old churches, and views of Falmouth Harbour, English Harbour, and Nelson’s Dockyard. Built in 1725, Nelson’s Dockyard was a key base for the English naval squadron in the West Indies. Upon arrival at this historic park—the only working Georgian dockyard in the world—you’ll join a National Park Guide for a short walking tour of its restored buildings and notable sites. Here you can enjoy a complimentary rum or fruit punch.

Next, enjoy a boat tour around English Harbour, with your Guide highlighting interesting buildings and sharing stories and anecdotes. Take advantage of numerous photo opportunities, including the Pillars of Hercules. After the tour, you’ll have free time to explore the Dockyard, visit the museum, art gallery, gift shop, or cafes and bars, and enjoy the atmosphere. Your bus will then take you through Antigua’s villages back to the ship.

TUK TUK RAINFOREST and BEACH

Begin in St. John’s and travel through the countryside, villages, and hills to Antigua’s rainforest, then continue to a white sand beach. Board an open-sided Tuk Tuk with your driver/guide for a narrated drive from St. John’s to the rainforest.

Stop to sample local fruit before continuing through the rainforest to the beach. Spend 60 minutes at the beach with a reserved sun chair. You can walk along the shore or swim in the Caribbean Sea. Continue the journey along the coastal road past beaches and villages back to St. John’s. Refreshments provided include banana bread, rum punch, fruit juice, and water. Bring a camera, swimwear, towel, and sunscreen. Don’t forget your camera, swimwear, a towel and sunscreen!

Please note: The order in which the tour is run may be reversed. This is not a self-driven tour; a driver will be provided. The driver is also the guide. Beach chairs are included. Umbrellas are available to rent. Guests are recommended to bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and your camera

EASY and ACCESSIBLE : ANTIGUA

Travel from St. John ‘s into the heart of Antigua on a guided, wheelchair-accessible tour that blends history, scenery, and everyday island life. Begin your journey with an approximately 45-minute scenic drive through quiet villages and rolling countryside en route to Nelson ‘s Dockyard in English Harbour. Spend approximately 20 minutes exploring the historic dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring a short, guided walk, time to look around at your leisure, and a complimentary rum or fruit punch. Continue to Dow ‘s Hill Interpretation Centre for an approximately 15-minute stop and a multimedia presentation on Antigua ‘s history. Then, enjoy about 20 minutes at Shirley Heights Lookout, where sweeping panoramic views of English Harbour await. Your return journey to St. John ‘s takes approximately one hour, following scenic coastal roads and passing through local communities.

Please note: Minimum age required to participate is 5 years old. The barrier-free tour is designed to be universally accessible, avoiding steps/stairs throughout.

An accessible vehicle with a wheelchair lift or ramp will be used for transportation. Guides are not permitted to push wheelchairs. The order in which sites are visited or viewed may vary. The price of the tour includes transportation, tour guide and admission fees; it excludes the cost of lunch/snacks. As the number of wheelchair-accessible vehicles is extremely limited in many ports, guests are encouraged to make reservations for barrier-free shore excursions as early as possible.
