HORSEBACK RIDING ADVENTURE
Explore the countryside of Puerto Rico on horseback on this approximately four-hour riding adventure. Discover a historic former plantation on a scenic ride past tropical fields and serene lagoons, then enjoy sweeping views and cocktails at the ranch’s hilltop mojito bar.
Hacienda Campo Rico, a former agricultural plantation founded well over 100 years ago, now offers a wide range of outdoor adventures. On this excursion, lasting around four hours, you’ll explore its sprawling grounds on horseback, providing a memorable way to experience Puerto Rico’s landscapes.
After a drive of approximately 30 minutes from the port to the ranch, there’s a check-in session lasting around 30 minutes. Then, meet your guides for a safety briefing lasting approximately 15 minutes.
Now that you’re ready to mount your trained, Paso Fino horse, take to the saddle and spend the next 90 minutes or so riding. Follow your guide through fields of tropical fruit and vegetation, tranquil lagoons and coastal plains, while enjoying views of the surrounding mountains.
After the ride, there’s approximately 15 minutes for a closing talk before heading to the venue’s hilltop mojito bar. Unwind on the terrace with a cocktail (drinks are not included in the excursion cost and must be purchased separately) for approximately 30 minutes as you reflect on the day’s activity.
The return transfer back to the port takes around half an hour, concluding the excursion.
Important Information: Guests must be 8 years old to participate. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. The maximum weight to participate is 240 lbs. Closed-toe shoes and helmets are mandatory to wear. Helmets will be provided onsite. Long pants are recommended.
For safety reasons, pregnant women, and guests with back or neck injuries and heart or respiratory conditions are not permitted on this excursion. Guests must be able to step onto the bus & walk on uneven surfaces at the ranch. A rider must be able to support their own weight and mount the horse with minimal assistance. Guests are recommended to bring a beach towel and a credit card or cash for additional purchases onsite. Guests may purchase a locker to keep their belongings during activity. Guests may be required to sign a waiver which may only be available in English
