Excursion Details
Begin with a scenic 20 minutes drive through the traditional Jaraguá neighborhood, where history and culture meet. Next, drive through the city center, passing Rei Pelé Stadium, Montepio dos Artistas Square, and Visconde de Sinimbu Square. Head towards the historic center, where you’ll see Floriano Peixoto Square, Boa Jesus dos Martírios Church, both Government Palaces, Deodoro Theater, and the Alagoas Academy of Letters. Arrive at Mirante de São Gonçalo do Amarante (Morro da Jacutinga) for a 10-minute stop to take in the views and visit the historic chapel. Afterwards, enjoy a drive along Maceió’s urban beaches, soaking in coastal scenery. Finish with a 40-minute stop at the Handicraft Centre for the chance to explore and purchase local arts before returning to port.

This excursion will not be canceled due to weather (rain). Food and beverages are not included; we recommend bringing local currency or a Visa/Mastercard credit card. It is only available in Portuguese.
