DOLPHINS ENCOUNTER AT BLUE LAGOON
Get up-close to an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin on a trip to Blue Lagoon Island lasting approximately four hours. As well as interacting with and learning more about these extraordinary creatures, there’s also time set aside for other activities, including visiting the beach, enjoying a complimentary lunch and visiting an aqua park.

Among the most intelligent and playful creatures on the planet, the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin is a joy to observe and to be around. This excursion, lasting about four hours, allows guests to interact with these magnificent marine mammals and learn more about them on Blue Lagoon Island, a private isle found around five kilometres from Nassau.
Your dolphin meetup starts with an approximately 45-minute ferry journey from Nassau Harbour to Blue Lagoon Island. Once on the island, you’ll be given an orientation course that covers information about bottlenose dolphins, how they are trained and ocean conservation efforts. You’ll then make your way to a platform that’s submerged waist-deep in the water, ready for approximately 15 minutes of time spent interacting with a dolphin under the watchful eye of a trainer.
Afterwards, make the most of approximately three hours to enjoy Blue Lagoon Island, which could include relaxing on the beach, swimming in the lagoon, savouring a complimentary Bahamian lunch, making a splash in an aqua park (entry to the park is included in the excursion cost) or even viewing sea lions, stingrays and other marine creatures (time permitting).
A ferry ride of about 45 minutes then makes the transfer back to the port.
Important Information: Guests will be required to wash their hands before and after the animal interaction.
It is recommended that guests bring a bathing suit, water shoes, towels, sunscreen, and cash or credit cards for any additional purchases. Guests will be required to sign a waiver which may only be available in English. To ensure the safety of the animals and guests, personal cameras, cell phones, Go Pros, or other electronic devices, cannot be brought onto the platform during the animal interaction. The minimum height for the aqua park is 48 inches. Blue Lagoon Island accepts Cash, VISA, Mastercard and Discover cards.
Free Wi-Fi is available on the island. The level of the tide depends on the weather conditions. The transfer to and from Blue Lagoon takes approximately 45 minutes by ferry each way. Guests who are pregnant are not permitted to participate on this tour. This tour lasts a minimum of 4 hours. However, depending on your ship timing in port and daylight hours, it is subject to be extended further.
Final tour duration for your call will be confirmed once onboard. Tour price stays unchanged as Blue Lagoon currently only offers one set of rates. There is no differentiation between half and full day rates.
