GALVESTON SIGHTSEEING TOUR: IN TRANSIT

Pass by Galveston’s Victorian District, which boasts an array of impeccably preserved historic homes and buildings from the late 19th century. Marvel at the intricate architectural details and landscaped gardens that reflect the opulence of the Victorian era. You will then see Galveston’s best-known district, The Strand. The Strand is a National Historic Landmark and is the name of a street and its surrounding area that encompasses five blocks in downtown Galveston. The Strand is lined with retail boutiques, independent restaurants, and bars, and is considered by many as the “heart of the island.” Before finally arriving back at the port, you will have a quick rest stop and then join back on the bus passing by other historic sites, such as, the Moody Mansion, The Grand Opera House, and the notorious Hotel Galves.
