Excursion Details
Begin at the pier and head to Plaza Independencia for a 15-minute stop, with opportunities to photograph the Teatro Solís and Palácio Salvo. Visit the Palácio Legislativo, another 15-minute stop to admire this impressive building. Drive through the Prado neighborhood for approximately 50 minutes, enjoying tree-lined streets and regional architecture. Next, head to Parque Batlle, stopping at the famous La Carreta monument for more photos. Travel to the refined Carrasco neighborhood, with a 20-minute pause at Plaza Virgilio. Conclude with approximately 2 hours of free time at Punta Carretas Shopping Center for retail exploration before returning to the port.
