Found off the northern coast of Honduras, the island of Roatán may measure just 40 miles or so in length, but it ‘s still known for its acclaimed beaches, one of which you ‘ll be enjoying on this excursion of around four hours.
A transfer drive of around 20 minutes starts things off, arriving at a beach club where you ‘ll be welcomed with a fruit punch and given a briefing about the venue, lasting around 20 minutes.
Then, ease into approximately three hours of leisure time, to be used however you see fit. Wandering across the white sands and admiring the Caribbean coastal views is a good way to begin, perhaps followed by a refreshing dip in the sea. You ‘ll also have access to a complimentary beach chair during your time here, so feel free to sit back and enjoy the sunshine.
As the beach club also houses a souvenir shop, you ‘ll be able to browse and buy gifts and mementos of your time spent in Roatán.
Once the free time comes to an end, a transfer drive of approximately 20 minutes returns to the port, concluding the excursion.
Important Information: You are recommended to bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, insect repellent, a sunhat, sunglasses and cash for purchases. Guests using a wheelchair are advised that they must be accompanied by a paying helper to provide assistance with getting on and off the coach and that wheelchairs must be collapsible/foldable since the coach has neither a ramp nor a lift. Guests using a wheelchair who would like to participate in this tour are requested to contact the Shore Excursions ‘ Desk promptly once they are on board so that arrangements can be made.
Given the island ‘s infrastructure and narrow, winding roads, smaller buses are used for transportation in Roatan, allowing for easier navigation and more efficient travel through the island
