PRISTINE BAY BEACH DAY WITH LUNCH
Excursion details
Treat yourself to a day of fun and freedom on this approximately six-hour excursion, taking place at a beach club on the Honduran island of Roatán. Begin with a transfer of around 30 minutes to your destination, the beach club of the extensive Pristine Bay resort. On arrival you’ll be welcomed with a non-alcoholic fruit punch and given orientation information about the beach club (which covers approximately 25,000 square feet) for around 15 minutes.
Then spend approximately three hours of free time making the most of the beach club and its amenities. These include an infinity pool, a small waterpark suitable for families and children, a ‘Kids’Zone’play area in one of the pools, a sports field (with courts for tennis, basketball and pickleball – a paddle-based sport which blends parts of tennis, ping pong and badminton) and, of course, the beach itself, which boasts palms and white sands. After the free time comes to an end, there’s around one hour to enjoy lunch, accompanied by either a beer or soft drink.
Following lunch is a unique opportunity. Spend approximately 30 minutes trying your hand at ‘splash golf’- the nickname given to hitting golf balls into a designated lake area at Pete’s Place Driving Range, attached to a hotel within the resort. You’ll be given a bucket of 20 golf balls to help perfect your swing, made even more enjoyable by the addition of a scenic coastal backdrop. Those who prefer to spend more time at the resort relaxing instead of at the driving range are welcome to do so.
After the time at the driving range, there’s a brief transfer to a nearby panoramic viewpoint, where you can spend a short time admiring views overlooking the resort’s golf course. Finally, a transfer of approximately 30 minutes returns to the port, concluding the excursion.
Important Information: Children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. Guests are recommended to bring a bathing suit, sunblock, a towel, and a change of clothes. Other amenities include, a mini water park, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a volleyball facility; however, equipment is not provided, so guests wishing to use these facilities should bring their own. Given the island’s infrastructure and narrow, winding roads, smaller buses are used for transportation in Roatan, allowing for easier navigation and more efficient travel through the island
