BEAGLE CHANNEL NAVIGATION
Named after the first voyage of HMS Beagle in the 19th century and also visited by Charles Darwin during the ships second trip, the narrow Beagle Channel presents itself for inspection on this appealing boat tour.
After boarding a boat at the pier, you willfirst cruise out of Ushuaia’s harbour en route to the Beagle Channel to a backdrop of wonderful mountain views. While you cruise along the strait, you willpass Isla de los Pájaros (Bird Island), home to a large gulp of imperial cormorants, as well as Isla de los Lobos, where you willfind a colony of sea lions. The equally scenic return cruise wraps the tour up.
Please note: Guides in languages other than Spanish/English are limited. Should a tour guide for your language be unavailable, the tour will be in Spanish or English only.
Guests are recommended to wear a jacket or windbreaker since sudden shifts in the weather are common. Sightings of wildlife, though common, cannot be guaranteed. This excursion will not be cancelled due to weather conditions (rain)
