EASY and ACCESSIBLE: ROATAN

This approximately four-hour excursion is a chance to visit some of the sights and attractions of Roatán – an island located off the northern coast of Honduras – in an easy format. The excursion is accessible for guests with limited mobility by using a route that avoids steps and includes accessible bathrooms.
The excursion starts with a drive of around 35 minutes to a viewpoint where you can take in panoramic vistas of the Caribbean Sea and surrounding scenery for around 15 minutes. From here, it’s about a 15-minute drive to an iguana park, where you’ll spend approximately 20 minutes observing and learning more about these fascinating lizards.
Next is an approximately 25-minute drive to the Las Palmas Beach Hotel at Dixon Cove. After enjoying welcome refreshments for about 15 minutes, you’ll have approximately one hour and 40 minutes of free time to spend however you like – browse nearby shops, grab a bite to eat or a drink (at guests’own expense) or simply relax on the beach, enjoying the sunshine and sea views. Afterwards, a transfer drive of around 20 minutes returns to the port.
Important Information: This tour is designed to be accessible for guests with limited mobility or using folding wheelchairs. Guests must be able to climb steps to board the bus. The tour route avoids steps and stairs. Accessible bathrooms with wide doors for wheelchairs are present along the tour route. Guides are not allowed to push wheelchairs. The order of the sites viewed or visited may vary.
Lunch/snack costs are not included in the tour price. Given the island’s infrastructure and narrow, winding roads, smaller buses are used for transportation in Roatan, allowing for easier navigation and more efficient travel through the island
