Your adventure begins with a swift and efficient pickup from the pier, ensuring a timely departure. A scenic 30-minute drive through the lush Tijuca Forest brings you to the base of Corcovado Mountain. Here, ascend via the renowned cogwheel train to the summit, where the majestic Christ the Redeemer statue awaits. Take approximately 45 minutes to marvel at the panoramic vistas of Rio’s sprawling cityscape, golden beaches, and verdant mountains.
Next, journey to the famed Sugarloaf Mountain, a drive that offers glimpses of Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. Upon arrival, embark on a two-stage cable car ride to the summit of Pão de Açúcar. Spend about 2 hours soaking in the breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, the bay, and the surrounding landscapes. Concluding your tour, a direct transfer to the airport ensures you arrive in ample time for your departure, allowing you to reflect on the day’s extraordinary experiences. The Corcovado train and Sugarloaf cable car tickets are included in the price of the excursion, and lines may occur during the summer at the train and cable car stations. Waiting times for the cable car may vary due to congestion. In the event of strong winds or storms, the service may be suspended. Waiting times for the train may vary due to congestion. This excursion is only available for guests disembarking at the port of Rio de Janeiro from Grand Voyages cruises coming from Europe, and with flights after 8:00 PM. This excursion ends at Rio de Janeiro International Airport. The duration of this excursion does not include the transfer time to the airport (approximately 45 minutes).
Baggage: The maximum baggage allowance is 2 (two) bags per person. Lines and traffic may affect the time available at Corcovado and Sugarloaf, but there will be a minimum stay of 30 minutes at each destination. Food and beverages are not included; we recommend bringing local currency or a Visa/Mastercard credit card. This excursion will not be canceled due to weather (rain).
