Excursion Details
Begin with a 40-minute panoramic drive through historic Rio, including a stop at the striking São Sebastião Cathedral. Continue to Maracanã Stadium and the Sambódromo for memorable photo stops celebrating Rio’s sporting and carnival heritage. Head to Sugarloaf Mountain, where a cable car ascent brings you to the summit for around 2 hours to enjoy panoramic views of Guanabara Bay, Niterói, and Corcovado. Conclude your tour with a transfer to the airport.

The order of the itinerary may change due to lines at Sugarloaf. The itinerary may change during the Carnival period. The cable car ticket is included in the excursion price. Passing by the beaches is subject to local festivities and parades, where beachfront avenues may be closed to traffic.
This tour is available for guests disembarking at the port of Rio de Janeiro from Grand Voyages cruises coming from Europe, and with flights after 5:00 PM. This tour ends at Rio de Janeiro International Airport. Baggage: The maximum baggage allowance is 2 (two) bags per person. Lines and traffic may affect the time available at Sugarloaf, but there will be a minimum stay of 30 minutes at the destination. Waiting times for the cable car may vary due to congestion. In the event of strong winds or storms, the service may be suspended. This excursion will not be canceled due to weather (rain).
