CANOEING IN THE TIERRA DEL FUEGO NATIONAL PARK

Experience glorious landscapes, fresh air, a chance to stretch your legs during a hike, and time spent on the water in a canoe—all part of this half-day nature-centered tour.

Excursion Details

First, you’ll take an easy path to reach Tierra del Fuego National Park, then proceed to Lake Roca. After safety instructions, you’ll board your inflatable canoe to paddle first on the lake and then descend the beautiful Ovando River, one of the park’s most picturesque. As you approach Lapataia Bay, keep an eye out for wildlife such as petrels, albatrosses, steam ducks, and penguins. Afterward, you’ll return to land for a moderate 30-minute walk along well-maintained trails offering some of South America’s most spectacular natural landscapes, including winter bark, fire bushes, and various types of beech trees. The return journey to your ship concludes the tour.
