Excursion Details
This accessible excursion through San Juan, lasting approximately two and a half hours, begins with a short drive to Paseo de los Presidentes, a walkway lined with bronze statues of US Presidents who visited Puerto Rico during their term. Spend about 15 minutes here, taking photos and admiring views of the Capitol Building’s south wing.
Afterwards, enjoy a guided drive into Old San Juan, where you’ll spend a short time viewing colonial architecture and landmarks like the Castillo San Felipe del Morro fortress and Santa María Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery, the resting place of notable Puerto Rican politicians, artists and writers.
Continue your guided drive to Paseo de La Princesa, a picturesque promenade adorned with sculptures and fountains. Enjoy a stop here lasting about 20 minutes before an approximately 20-minute guided drive through the Isla Verde area, known for its luxury hotels and popular beaches. Next is another drive of around 20 minutes to the upscale Condado District, where you’ll pause for about 15 minutes at La Ventana del Mar, a seaside plaza with views of the North Shore.
The final section is a photo stop of approximately 20 minutes outside Castillo San Cristóbal, the largest fortification built by the Spanish in the Americas, before the short drive back to the pier.
Important Information: This tour is designed to be accessible for all guests. The tour route avoids steps and stairs. Accessible bathrooms with wide doors for wheelchairs are present along the tour route. An accessible vehicle with a wheelchair lift or ramp will be used for transportation. Guides are not allowed to push wheelchairs. The order of the sites viewed or visited may vary. The price includes vehicle, tour guide and entrance tickets. Lunch/snack costs are not included. In many ports the number of accessible vehicles are extremely limited; therefore, guests are encouraged to make their accessible shore excursion reservations as far in advance as possible.
